The mind can be a terrible thing. It fools us into believing we are better than others, more talented, more skilled. However, I have learned after over 30 years of touring, writing and performing that there are no real stars. Or, more importantly we are all stars in someone elses eye's. But music is music. It beckons to the artistic soul and strives to speak while it entertains. A wise artist will learn to respect all creations from all artistic souls. Be it Jazz, Funk, Rock, Soul, Reggae, Pop or Hip-Hop. Respect It for it is truly art. With that said, leave me a note if you enjoy listening to my work. Invite me to your web page and I'll be sure to visit. Stoneman is about destruction of the artistic ego and creation of artistic acceptance and respect. In other words, if you respect me, I will respect you. We all have something to say. I say what's on my mind and heart through music.
One Mo' Thang, The "N" word was created in order to humiliate and degrade Black people. I have no respect for people of any color (including Black) that use the word. Ya Heard Me?
If you don't understand why I feel this way , please go to www.abolishthenword.com for further information.
The below PSA was written and directed by my brother Glenn Towery. It is a dramatization of the effects of using the "N" word.

I really like your material and your attitude. You may have seen my posts on BZ as "The Big Moe Sho'. . .some try to categorize me as a Bluesman, but I use Blues and other genres to ultimately reach the unreached with a Gospel message. Works every time! God bless you Bro.

Dear stone Man, i just wanted to thank you so much for viewing my site and listening to my music . i got a chance to view your site and man, all i can say is WOW. i love the way you write, your lyrics are so real and deep to the hart of ones soul and you say that you play all the instrumentation on your tracks like do, man you are something.
Your song( ITS SO EXCITING ) Iam now making it my musicians anthom because it speaks of the things i feel within myself. you are one truly inspirational brother that's been touch dearly by the heavenly father to spread the word through your music of life's cautions to the young and old and to teach and show them that theirs only one way to go through this life channels and that's threw GOD.
Please , please dont ever stop or ever feel like that your music doesnt help or touch anyone because you do more than you know
From your new fan and friend Devon/imdevoni.com

sTONEMAN, I AGREE WITH YOUR PHILOSOPHY. I LIKE YOUR MUSIC. I BELIEVE MUSIC IS INSPRED FROM THE SOUL. AND THE SOUL IS INSPIRED FROM THE SPIRIT. ALSO. I BELIEVE THE SPIRIT IS INSPIRED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD HIMSELF.MUSIC IS BASED ON EACH PERSONS SOUL.THE PERFORMERS SOUL. HIS/HER ABILITY TO CONNECT WITH HIS/HER SOUL TO MAKE THE SOUNDS WE ALL LONG TO HEAR. LET THE SOUND RING FORTH.LET THE SOUND OF FREE EXPRESSION RING TO THE END OF TIME. GOD BLESS U AND YOUR BAND.BE FREE.
